Cyber Security Weekend Workshop

• Laptop with admin/root access — Needed to install tools and run labs
• VirtualBox or VMware — For running virtual lab environments
• Kali Linux VM (or ISO) — Pre-downloaded, primary tool environment
• Wireshark — Network traffic analysis
• Nmap — Network scanning (usually comes with Kali)
• Git — Required to clone workshop resources
• Stable internet connection — For downloading tools/labs on the day

⚠️ Note: VM downloads (Kali, VirtualBox) are large — please download in advance, not on workshop day. If possible, please install and verify the relevant tools beforehand so we can spend workshop time building/practicing rather than setting up environments.
