Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of complex distributed systems
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Design and implement high-throughput APIs serving millions of transactions
- Drive technical excellence through best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Own end-to-end delivery of critical features from design to deployment
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React/Next.js
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices patterns
- Experience with database optimization and scaling strategies
- Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code
- Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
- Previous experience in loyalty/fintech domain
